La Cabra's Medina Espejo Steeped Coffee is a special coffee from Mauro Tulcan in Buesaco, Nariño, Colombia. Anaerobic fermentation gives this coffee a juicy and intense profile – a clear and complex aroma with notes of tropical mango, while retaining the crisp acidity of red berries typical of high-altitude Nariño coffees. The steeped coffee pouches are individually dosed (approximately 15g per pouch), ground, and sealed in ready-to-brew, nitrogen-flushed packaging – thus preserving the clear, aromatic character of freshly ground coffee for over a year after roasting.

Origin and special features:
The Medina Espejo comes from a tiny, 2-hectare plot on a steep mountainside in Buesaco, Nariño. La Cabra has prized coffees from this mountainous region of Colombia for years for their intense sweetness and concentrated aromas with remarkable clarity. The incredibly high altitudes (often over 2000m) and excellent sun exposure result in sugary, slowly ripening coffee cherries – creating the complexity and intensity in the cup. The Steeped pouches offer a simple and efficient way to enjoy one of this season's most interesting coffees without the hassle of grinding or dosing.
